Other real estate matters

Builder Contract Assignments Transactions

We will review the Assignment of Agreements of Purchase and Sale, obtain Vendor’s consent to assign, and assist in completing assignment transactions.

Condominium Status Certificate Reviews

We review status certificates for condominium purchases/refinances.

Contract Reviews

After signing an agreement of purchase and sale with a new home or condominium builder there is a "cooling" off period where your lawyer can further negotiate the terms of your agreement with the builder before your contract becomes legally binding ( discretional to be engaged)

HST Rebate Applications

Please contact us if your builder did not provide you with the HST rebate ( may refer to a CGA )

Matrimonial Home Designations:

If you are a spouse and are not on title of your matrimonial home, you may want to consider registering a matrimonial home designation to inform third parties and lenders about your rights as a spouse.

Survivorship Applications

When a property is jointly owned by two individuals and one passes away, the deceased owner must be removed from the title to manage the property. The surviving owner will need to file a survivorship application to complete this process; we're able to provide assistance with this.
